2-Step Neurotrophic, Memory, Stress-Relief, Anti-Aging, and Mood-Enhancing Cellular Health Formula

INTRODUCTION

The Membrosia System was developed to help achieve the optimal ratio of fatty acids and phospholipids.

DESCRIPTION/ BACKGROUND

In the classic American novel, Hans Brinker; or, The Silver Skates, a short story is told of a little Dutch boy who saves his country by putting his finger in a leaking dyke— the protective wall that keep the sea at bay and protects his country’s crops. The boy knows that a leak in the dyke—however small—can quickly grow, leading to a collapse of the wall and a flooding of the fields and valleys. So, the boy stays there all night, in spite of the cold, with his finger plugging the dyke until the adults of the village find him and make the necessary repairs.

Much like the dykes of the Netherlands, our cell membranes protect our cells from the many constant insults of the environment around us. Just as is the case with a collapsing dyke, damage to these fragile membranes can accumulate quickly, leading to the premature death of cells. Fortunately, Dr. D’Adamo has found a solution through D’Adamo Personalized Nutrition’s unique 2-Step Membrosia Formula, which specifically targets the repair of this vital cellular defense network.

Modern life presents us with a level of environmental stressors that are unprecedented in the history of humanity. Our cells and their delicate membranes developed in an environment in which stressful events were intense but infrequent. The prolonged stresses of modern life—emotional, chemical, and environmental—often strike first with their destructive effect on the area of our bodies that is the most vulnerable—the cells of our fragile nervous system.

In the young, these stressors result in a delay in the maturation of specific neuronal networks, which often manifests in the form of ADHD and other developmental disorders. In adults, prolonged levels of stress impair the formation of new and the firing of old synapses—connections between neurons—that are necessary to maintain a balanced mood. An increase in the stress hormone cortisol for short periods helps the body adapt to stress, but long-term elevations can lead to sleep disturbance, weight gain, and depressed mood due to cortisol’s direct effects on the brain’s nerves and their synapses.

In the aging population, the effects of prolonged stress on the brain impairs both the formation of new synapses that is necessary to form new memories and the firing of old ones that is necessary to access older memories. Thus, the same underlying process that lead to developmental delay in children and depression in adults can lead to memory loss and dementia as we age. That is why neuronal cell membrane protection is more important now than ever before at any age to ensure the health of our most important asset—our brain—the source of our creativity, our consciousness and our unique identity.

ACTIONS/ INDICATIONS

The Membrosia System, the 2-Step Complex: Lecithin, Trehalose, Ribose, Uridine, and L-Glutamine and Fluidizer: Flaxseed Oil, Walnut Oil, Black Cumin Oil, Perilla Seed Oil, and Cod Liver Oil Formula from D’Adamo Personalized Nutrition act together on multiple levels to:

  • Enhance cell membrane health, function, and fluidity
  • Promote balanced intra and extracellular water distribution, thereby reducing bloating and edema
  • Helps maintain healthy blood pressure
  • Maintain healthy cellular metabolic activity and detoxification
  • Stimulate the activity of your nerves to renew and form new synapses to maximize the functional capacity of the brain
  • Improve the connections and conductivity between nerves to improve the activity of the brain and nervous system
  • Restore and support the healthy firing of nerves and synapses to increase the rate of communication between various parts of the brain

These combined actions have the net effect of boosting memory and brain function in those whose nervous systems are suffering from the depression that often comes from the prolonged stresses of modern life as well as mitigating the effects of aging on cognition and recall. The Membrosia System also helps normalize blood pressure and reduce bloating and fluid retention by promoting balanced intra and extracellular water distribution across the cell membrane. Regular consumption of Membrosia can support a balanced mood in those susceptible to occasional bouts of depression or mental sluggishness. Membrosia may also be of use in young people suffering from ADHD and other developmental disorders. When taken by mature and seasoned adults, alongside our Attentia and Trehalose Formulas, Membrosia can be a powerful preventive measure to ensure healthy brain function throughout the advanced years of life.

This system pack includes (1) Membrosia Complex 210 and (1) Membrosia Fluidizer. When taken together, the two components that make up the Membrosia System (Membrosia Complex and Membrosia Fluidizer) maintain healthy cell membrane nutrition, helping to support healthy aging and the control of free radicals. The Membrosia System to provide the key nutrients that enhance and maintain a healthy cell membrane:  A unique blend of the cellular-supporting nutrients lecithin, trehalose and uridine. The Membrosia System provides a unique 7-2-1 ratio of key nutritional phosphatides designed to support healthy aging and to optimize nerve health.

These two products are mixed together with a favorite juice to produce a tasty, satisfying smoothie-like drink.

TYPICAL DOSAGE

Blend two (2) level teaspoons of Membrosia Complex and one and a half (1.5) teaspoons of Membrosia Fluidizer and combine with 4-6 oz. of a beneficial juice. Take first thing in the morning. Avoid consuming any fatty foods for fifteen minutes after taking Membrosia.

PRODUCT HISTORY

Dr. Peter D’Adamo at the Center of Excellence in Generative Medicine developed the Membrosia System in 2014.
